This is one of the blades I helped make for for her costume for conventions. Unfortunately this probably wont see the hype of cons because she plans on making a mold of it and making a resin version so the resin one wont break which I have faith in my work with wood that it wont break easily, the only things I can't guarantee wont break is the tips of the blade, the handle guard will definitely hold up and stay in one piece though. But that's a gimme. We made this plus others over two days on the weekend when I was over at her house. This one took about a day though, and not even that. It had a hole with liquid sap still inside it so we had to do a bit of cleaning up to it so it took a bit longer.
It's beautuful. You could have it gold foiled. There are plenty Youtube videos on the subject.
Gold Foiled? Well it's entirely up to my friend who I made it for and she's wanting it for her elf assassin oc that she goes to cons as.
very impresive, what tools did u use for this dagger?
Thanks, Just a Jigsaw, Dremel, Pencil and Sandpaper.
gonna paint it
my friend who I did this for said she would do something to them that has to do with powder or dust, still not sure how it works though, I may have an image of them later if she finishes them and uploads images herself.
Oh love it
